Don has an extensive background with over 20 years experience in emerging technologies and standards-based computing.  He began his career with Apple Computer Inc., in the System Engineering group. He was part of the leadership team of four university IT groups: Network Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Director of Information Systems at the University of Chicago Cancer and Leukemia Group B, Director of NewMedia at Marquette University and Executive Director of IT at MIAD.

Don Kasprzak

He has been a featured speaker at multiple organizations including the American Library Association, Marquette University’s Business School & Graduate Program in Computer Science. Don is a previous co-chair of WiscNet’s Internet2 Working Group and moderated the Internet2 session: Integrating Art Into the Teaching of Math, Science and other Disciplines enabled by Internet2 at the 2007 Future Technologies Conference in Madison Wisconsin.

He moderated High Definition video over IP for Distance Learning at 2009 BrainStorm at the Wisconsin Dells.  Don has taught at Marquette University’s WebMaster Program and Northwestern University’s Technology in Learning and Teaching (TiLT) program.

Don is a graduate from The University of Toledo with degrees in History and Political Science.
