Readable, perhaps, but not reliable. The reason Weiner didn't win the Pulitzer for Legacy of Ashes (despite its being nominated) was that in depth reviews by intelligence experts revealed that Weiner's work was seriously flawed. See the reviews on the web by Christopher Andrew, Jeffrey Richelson, and Nicholas Dujmovic.

I agree, which is why I read (most) of the work and adapted passages from it into a stage dramatization. This adaptation was presented in a workshop production during the spring of this year at Torrance Cultural Arts Center and will have its world premiere at Santa Monica Playhouse on Feb. 5,, 2012. Among the reasons we are at the Playhouse is the fact that it is mere walking distance from Rand Corp., that is, the "scene of the crime."

How unfortunate that the event was publicized as ".. first hand .." I image that image that your wife could have presented a very vivid, truly "first hand" description of what happened.

The Power of Impossible Thinking and Ahead of the Curve sound pretty intriguing. I'm sure the writing in Re-mix will be quite good as Lessig is a skilled wordsmith.

My holiday reading list consists of books on three subjects: 1) EQ , 2) e-learning, and 3) whatever random subjects I find along the way.
