Real has been caught hijacking QuickTime movies in this format: rtsp://qt.WBR.com/enya/videos/qt/some_enya_movie.mov. You can clearly see this directory is for QuickTime because the directory is named “QT” yet Real’s Player hijacks the movie and unsuccessfully tries to play it inside it’s own RealPlayer application EVEN THOUGH Real’s application was never configured to playback RTSP video streams.
